Sebring International Raceway Hosts Veterans for Exclusive Turner Motorsport
Experience
*Beverly Allgood, Allgood Vets, and Operation Motorsport Unite to Honor Service Members*
Sebring, FL — May 18, 2025 — Sebring International Raceway, one of the oldest and most
revered racetracks in the United States, opened its gates to honor a group of American
veterans with a day of exclusive access, heartfelt recognition, and high-octane excitement.
Made possible by Beverly Allgood and Allgood Vets (AllgoodVets.com), in partnership with
Operation Motorsport (OperationMotorsport.org), the event was designed to support
veteran reintegration by offering connection, purpose, and unforgettable experiences
within the professional motorsport community.
The veterans were granted behind-the-scenes access to the Turner Motorsport garage,
owned by renowned racing figure Will Turner. Since founding Turner Motorsport in 1998,
Turner has raced exclusively with BMW, achieving an incredible 10 championships and a
record 557 professional race starts—the most for any team with the iconic German
manufacturer.
Veterans met BMW driver Justin Rothberg and witnessed firsthand the teamwork,
precision, and passion that drive Turner Motorsport's legacy. Turner Motorsport
(TMSracing.com | @TurnerMotorsportBMW) provided an unmatched experience and
extended genuine hospitality to all in attendance.
Two standout veterans were specially recognized during the event:
- John “METRIC” Vincent, Commander of Ridge Chapter 49 of Sebring
- Dale Barnes, Commander of the VFW and a veteran helicopter pilot
Both were honored with custom racing gear in appreciation of their leadership and
distinguished military service.
“This day was about more than racing,” said Beverly Allgood. “It was about showing our
veterans that their service continues to be valued, and that they are always part of a
team—on and off the battlefield.”
With continued support from Operation Motorsport, which focuses on motorsport
immersion as a means of rehabilitation and reintegration, the event demonstrated how
powerful community partnerships can create a positive, lasting impact in the lives of those
who’ve served.
